Fluxim will attend MATSUS Fall 2026, the nanoGe conference on materials for sustainable development, taking place in Mallorca, Spain, from 26 to 30 October 2026. The event brings together research in materials science, chemistry, and engineering with a strong focus on sustainability, alternative energy technologies, energy efficiency, responsible materials use, and environmental health and safety.
MATSUS Fall 2026 is designed to connect fundamental multidisciplinary research with applied science, with a program aligned to the broader goals of sustainable development. The conference covers a wide sustainability agenda, including the development of technologies that reduce dependence on fossil fuels, improve energy efficiency, and lower the environmental impact of technological and economic growth.
The 2026 program includes topics across halide perovskites, nanocrystals and nanomaterials, catalysis and electrochemistry for energy transformation, solar fuels, photonics in energy conversion, AI-accelerated discovery of sustainable materials, and next-generation semiconductor technologies. For Fluxim, this makes MATSUS Fall 2026 a highly relevant meeting for discussions around simulation, device characterization, and materials and device development for sustainable optoelectronics and photovoltaics. The relevance to Fluxim's portfolio is an inference based on the published conference themes.
The conference will be held at Melià Palma Marina in Palma, overlooking the harbour along the Paseo Marítimo and within easy reach of the historic centre. The scientific organizers are Michael Saliba from the University of Stuttgart, Annalisa Bruno from Nanyang Technological University, and Juan-Pablo Correa-Baena from Georgia Institute of Technology all we are pleased to mention are customers of Fluxim.
Meet Fluxim section
At MATSUS Fall 2026, Fluxim looks forward to meeting researchers working on perovskite photovoltaics, energy conversion materials, advanced semiconductor devices, and sustainable materials innovation. Our team is always interested in discussing how Setfos, Paios, Litos Lite, Litos, Phelos, and related workflows can support advanced R&D in simulation, characterization, and device testing.
Dr. Urs Aeberhard will represent Fluxim at the conference as an invited speaker.
