International Summit on Organic and Hybrid Perovskite Solar Cell Stability

About the summit

ISOS 17 brings together the global photovoltaic community to advance organic and hybrid perovskite solar cell stability research. Hosted by IPVF, the summit connects researchers and industry to share results, strengthen collaborations, and accelerate progress toward commercially viable perovskite PV through better understanding of degradation and standardized testing approaches.

Important dates

  • Abstract submission opens: 1 February 2026

  • Abstract deadline: 1 April 2026

  • Early-bird registration deadline: 30 April 2026

  • Programme announcement: 15 June 2026

  • Conference dates: 21-23 September 2026

Conference programme themes

ISOS 17 is a three-day programme designed for knowledge exchange and collaboration around perovskite solar cell stability. Session topics include:

  • Encapsulation and outdoor degradation, including extreme conditions (space, desert)

  • AI, modeling, and FAIR data

  • Standardisation and testing protocols

  • Intrinsic stability

  • Low-power PV

  • Indoor degradation experiments

  • Advanced characterization through aging (for example current-voltage, electroluminescence, photoluminescence)

Confirmed invited speakers

  • Eva Unger, Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (Germany)

  • Shengzhong Liu Frank, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (China)

  • Derya Baran, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Saudi Arabia)

  • Joseph J. Berry, National Renewable Energy Laboratory and University of Colorado Boulder (USA)

  • Jan Anton Koster, University of Groningen (Netherlands)

  • Julianna Panidi, University of Edinburgh (UK)
