innoLAE 2027, the Innovations in Large-Area Electronics Conference and supporting events, takes place from 15 to 18 February at Cripps Court Conference Centre, Magdalene College, Cambridge, UK. The event addresses printed, flexible, hybrid and organic electronics.
Design questions when devices become larger
Increasing device area introduces questions that may be less visible in a small laboratory sample. Electrode layout, current distribution and local heating can influence how a device behaves across its surface. For photovoltaic and light-emitting structures, it is useful to consider these effects alongside the properties of the thin-film stack.
Explore Laoss for large-area device simulation and Setfos for device modelling. These resources provide a starting point for discussions about connecting cell design with larger-area structures.
Fluxim is considering attendance at innoLAE 2027. Our participation and any on-site meetings are not yet confirmed.
Visit the innoLAE website for the conference and short-course schedules. Tell us about your upscaling challenge if you would like to discuss your research.
