Towards the Development of Perovskite Lasers: The Bright Future of Perovskite LEDs

Join us for this webinar where cutting-edge research into meets innovative simulation techniques.

Date and Time:

Tuesday, 6th Feb 2024, 10 am - 11.30 am Central European Time (CET)/UTC +1

Registration Link: https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/967db45e-9aa8-495e-a8dc-3495485fa044@edaecfd0-eb6b-4e07-b7ed-3a0e8fbf5d0c

If you are unable to attend the webinar will be recorded however, you need to register in order to view it.

Joint first author Karim Elkhouly from imec, will delve into their paper:

Electrically assisted amplified spontaneous emission in perovskite light-emitting diodes. Nat. Photon. (2024). Elkhouly, K., Goldberg, I., Zhang, X. et al.

If you are unfamiliar with this work, the research team have developed a transparent PeLED architecture that successfully combines low optical losses with excellent current-injection properties, making significant strides in the field of thin-film laser diodes using metal halide perovskites.

Simulation

In addition, PhD student Simon Zeder from Fluxim/EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) will shed light on the additional simulation work conducted by Fluxim, which extends beyond what was included in the paper.

This webinar, hosted by Dr. Daniele Braga of Fluxim, promises to be a blend of detailed scientific exploration and practical simulation applications.

Whether you're a researcher, student, or industry professional, this webinar will offer valuable perspectives on the latest developments in perovskite technology.

Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your understanding and engage with experts in the field!
