About the Speakers

Dr. Kumar is a Senior Scientist at ETH Zurich, boasting an impressive track record in the field of organic electronics. With a focus on OLEDs and perovskite LEDs, his expertise spans across thin films, organic and metal halide perovskite semiconductors, colloidal nanomaterials, and optical/photophysical spectroscopy. Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University and has contributed significantly to the field with over 42 peer-reviewed publications. His work, particularly on two-dimensional nanoplatelet superlattices overcoming light outcoupling efficiency limits in perovskite quantum dots, marks a significant advancement in the efficiency and application of perovskite quantum dot LEDs.

Simulation Expertise

Dr. Balthasar Blülle is the development manager for Fluxim's advanced simulation software Setfos. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from ETH, Switzerland. With 29 publications, 344 citations, and skills in charge transport and semiconductor device modelling, he's a leading expert in OLED and solar cell simulation.
