  • NGSE Conference c/o Institute Materials for Electronics Martenstr. 7 D-91058 Erlangen Germany (map)

Next Generation Solar Energy (NGSE) is an international conference series organized by the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg for Renewable Energies (HI ERN) in December.

This year the conference (NGSE7) will be held from 6th – 8th of December 2022 in hybrid format.

Fluxim’s founder Prof. Beat Ruhstaller has been invited to present a talk on Characterization and Machine Learning.

We are also looking forward to hearing our colleague Dr. Evelyne Knapp from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences who will be giving a talk on Machine-Learning Assisted Parameter Extraction in Solar Cells

The schedule can be viewed here: https://www.ngse.info/schedule/

The 7th edition of the NGSE conference will be about “Machine learning method and high-throughput experimentation for material research”, with a special focus on:

✅Material discovery & Machine learning.

✅Machine learning methods for material research.

✅High throughput experimentation and automation.

✅Machine learning for PV research.

On the last day two topic-specific workshops will be organized:

✅Emerging PV database workshop.

✅Transparent photovoltaic workshop.

To promote a more inclusive environment and reach a wider audience the conference will be held digitally on Zoom Webinar and will be completely Free for all.

The conference offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest developments and current projects in the field of machine learning, high-throughput experimentation and photovoltaics. As well as the exchange of ideas and experiences with experts from around the world, particularly those who are in close collaboration with i-MEET, HI ERN and ZAE Bayern.
